Robert Kaussner and Lauren Youngs are among the most sought
after wedding photojournalists in the New York area and beyond.
They are frequent winners of top awards at regional and national photographic competitions.

Robert and Lauren are passionate wedding photojournalists.
They have been a creative force for six years as a team with a
similar philosophical approach to the art of documentary-style wedding photography.

Their photography style and passion for capturing images that are creative and natural have given them the opportunity to photograph hundreds of society weddings and other significant events from New York to exotic destination wedding locations.

With a studio that is headquartered in Ithaca, NY, they are naturally sought after by Cornell University graduates getting married near and far. "We find ourselves invited to photograph increasingly amazing, beautiful, and interesting events at spectacular locations ....weddings
at art-galleries, private estates, museums, and many other fascinating destination venues."

Lauren and Robert love photographing together, and have evolved to where “reading each other’s minds” is second nature. "We are almost always conscious of one-another’s positions, and have become adept at intuitively knowing where to be and when to capture the next key moment, glance, loving gesture, detail, or perspective."

Lauren's specialty is capturing quirky, natural, and fun in-between images. As a former custom gown designer, Lauren's eye is trained to capture the lovely details of the wedding. She studied photojournalism from the Newhouse School of Communications at Syracuse University, studied with Joyce Tennison, and has exhibited her photography in galleries throughout New York State. Lauren is a seasoned editorial and fine-art photographer with highly intuitive and creative image-making ability.

Robert's artful eye and creativivity stems from a father who was a successful Juilliard-trained pianist and a mother who was a painter. "I like to think of myself as a photographic version of my father." Robert worked for Kodak for ten years in various professional photography related positions, and worked with three of the world's top advertising, fashion, and wedding photographers. He is a member of the American Society of Media Photographers, the Wedding Photojournalist Association, and a former Kodak photography seminar producer/presenter.

Their work has been featured in Grace Ormonde Wedding Style Magazine, Sposa Magazine, the New York Times, the Toronto Globe and Mail, and on Luxurious Wedding. Robert is available for travel throughout the United States and the world.
