Angel De Armas is an international award winning wedding cinematographer. Film is his love. Angel’s innovative and quiet approach to wedding cinematography along with his natural story-telling ability, has led him to be one of the most sought after professionals in the industry.

Born in Cuba and raised in Mexico City, Angel De Armas has visual curiosity that was peaked at an early age by the vivid culture surrounding him. His interest in art films and photography led him to pursue his passion in the United States. After graduating from the Brooks Institute of Photography in Santa Barbara, he continued his journey in New York, San Francisco, and Los Angeles working both in fashion and editorial photography. He gradually transitioned to his first love – film.

Angel worked extensively as cinematographer on feature films and documentaries for over twelve years giving him a unique perspective on moving images and the emotional connections in them. With his primary background in photography and his tremendous experience in film, he combined these strengths to capture the most intimate moments of life.
