She is the founder of Obscura photo gallery in Portland's Pearl District and her work can be seen in galleries throughout the Northwest.
From the custom designed darkroom in her home, Aisha masterfully controls and prints all of her images. She is know for her square and panoramic format and for her ethereal and vintage style. She puts her soul into every detail of the process. Even your wedding pictures will be presented and showcased in exquisitely made clamshell boxes which hold a set of hand-sewn books finished with letterpress.
Her work has been published in the LA Times and she has received numerous awards. Aisha Harley was voted the Best Wedding Photographer in Oregon by Oregon Bride Magazine 2006, received the PDN Top Knot Wedding Photographers of the Nation with two image awards for portraits & getting ready. She has had her weddings featured in Portland's Premiere wedding magazine Portland Bride & Groom. Winter 2006, Spring 2007, and Winter 2007.
